Real Club de Campo de Málaga

Founded in 1926, Real Club de Campo de Málaga (also known as Parador de Málaga Golf) is one of the oldest golf clubs in Spain — and the pedigree shows in the name-check of designers: originally laid out as nine holes by the legendary Harry Colt, then extended to a full 18 by Tom Simpson. Nearly a century later it remains a genuinely easy walk, flat and wide with mature pines, olive and palm trees framing fairways that reward accuracy without demanding brute strength. Its location next to Málaga's Guadalhorce river estuary, just minutes from the airport, makes it one of the most convenient first or last rounds of any Costa del Sol trip — perfect for squeezing in 18 holes before an evening flight home.

Real Club de Campo de Málaga is located in Guadalmar, just south of Málaga Airport — around 5 minutes by car, making it the most accessible course on the coast for a quick round straight off the plane. From the airport, follow signs for Guadalmar / Campo de Golf. Free parking is available at the clubhouse.
