About the Course

Las Brisas is Nueva Andalucía's Golf Valley royalty — a private, members-only club built in 1968 that Robert Trent Jones turned into one of the finest courses in continental Europe, and one that's tested the world's best more than once. Ten artificial lakes fed by two streams weave through the layout, and the mostly raised, heavily bunkered greens leave very little room for a loose approach shot. It has hosted the World Cup twice, the Spanish Open three times, and the Mediterranean Open, and it consistently ranks among the top courses on the entire continent. Visitor access is famously limited — around 1,100 members from thirty different nationalities keep this one close to their chest — but for the rare round that comes available, it is very much worth the wait and the green fee.

How to Get There

Las Brisas sits in the heart of Nueva Andalucía's Golf Valley, around 10 minutes from Puerto Banús. From Málaga Airport, take the AP-7 motorway westbound and exit at Puerto Banús / Nueva Andalucía (roughly 50 minutes). Visitor access is restricted, so a tee time must be arranged in advance through a member or an authorised golf agency.
