Golf Torrequebrada

Opened in 1976, Torrequebrada is one of the elder statesmen of the Costa del Sol and still one of its most respected — a Pepe Gancedo design that has been quietly earning its reputation as "one of the most beautiful courses on the Costa del Golf" for nearly five decades. Precision matters more than power here: tight, well-bunkered fairways and firm, fast greens punish anyone trying to muscle their way around, while rewarding golfers who can shape a shot and commit to a strategy. The Benalmádena hillside setting delivers sea views on several holes, and the course's consistent conditioning is a big part of why it keeps drawing repeat visitors decade after decade. A genuinely serious test for a serious round.

Torrequebrada is located in Benalmádena Costa, about 20km southwest of Málaga. From Málaga Airport, take the A-7/AP-7 westbound towards Fuengirola and exit at Benalmádena Costa — roughly 20–25 minutes. The club is signposted from the coastal road, with parking at the clubhouse.
